Our college The National College of Education caters to the needs of downtrodden and educationally backward villages in and around keezhakollai village. We are proud in producing modern teachers with profound knowledge and efficient skills who aim at bringing an educational revolution in the remote villages of Tamilnadu. Neyveli Educational Trust, with a vision established this college in the year 2005 in its own .It is 2 kms away from Neyveli Township.The College is situated in a sprawling complex among verdant groves on the Kumbakonam- Chennai Highway. It can be reached from Neyveli and Panruti.

National council for Teacher Education, New Delhi through its Regional council in Bangalore granted recognition to conduct one year Bachelor Degree in education course for 100 student teachers in the year 2005-06 and for M.Ed., in 2008-09.

The college is affiliated to Tamilnadu Teachers Education University, Chennai- 97 and the colleges functioning as per the rules and regulations, Norms and Procedure 2014 prescribed by the NCTE. Staff members are appointed as per the guidelines stipulated by NCTE and Government of Tamilnadu. Resourceful faculty members of the college along with an experienced Principal prepare the student teachers as competent and committed teachers to cater to the needs of the future generation.
